Nostalgia strikes once again!

Hi there lovely people!  How've you guys been?  For me, I'm still trying to adapt to my workplace even though it's already been more than a month.  Anyway, before I forget, let me take the time to say Happy Bastille Day everyone!!!!  I can't believe that this day, last year I got up really early to watch the parade by Champs Elysees with my girlfriends which is actually the main reason I'm posting this.  I've been feeling nostalgic again about my adventure last year because I had so much fun. And this year, the closest place I can go for holiday is Hong Kong.  Of course I do not want to keep thinking about how I do not have the time to go anywhere this year because of work, but honestly there are times when I can't help but sigh.  I promised myself, however, that I will be back soon, with my family and my one and only love.  Someday soon!  Anywho, I hope you guys enjoy the photos.

I hope you guys have a great week ahead.  Till next post loves!

Ginny

Fun, Fun, Fun.

Ahhh Saturday.  I had such a productive day, I believe I ought to share it with you guys.  To shorten this post, I'll just tell you what I did in a few sentences.  HAHA!  I didn't have to work in the morning so I got up pretty early to watch my brother's recital.  Well, I have to tell you guys, I am a proud sister!!  Anyway, I got to have lunch with my mom and brother for a while and then hang out with my love, Carlos.  I got to take a few outfit shots and I got to watch Despicable Me 2!  A very fun day indeed, hence the title.  Oh and yes I'm a little bit shallow because I think anything's fun whenever I'm away from my desk and not reading e-mails or doing reports.  I don't want to say much about working life because it just stresses me out.  It's been more than a month since I started working and I still haven't gotten used to it yet, but I guess in time.  Again, I'm not going to say anything more because it's as dull as dishwasher.  So, I'll just show you what I did/had through my photos.

What I'm wearing: Denim Shirt: H&M, Paris | Top: Cotton On, HK | Skirt: Stradivarius  Oxfords: Forever 21, HK Bag: Longchamp | Necklace: Pull&Bear

Oh, and instead of showing you a photo of my brother, I believe it'd be better if I posted the video here.  Hope you guys enjoy it.  That's all for my Saturday!  Let me know how yours went.  Ciaooo loves!

Take me back to Paris s'il vous plaît.

This day, last year I was on the plane headed to Paris for a month and I've been feeling so nostalgic about it. I mean who wouldn't be right?  I was there for a month and I got to know people from different walks of life.  I got to explore the city, visit those historical sites, got to go shopping and I got to party with my awesome friends.  Thank God for the experience and of course my parents who made it possible.  I'm not sure how soon or when I can go back but I'll make sure I will with my love and family.  Anyway, below you'll see photos of me wearing my "Take me to Paris" shirt.  I wish it said "Take me back to Paris" instead.  Hehehe It's been a while since I took outfit photos.  I got to spend my Saturday with Carlos and I was able to bring him to this cute café called "Cakez Café" and they're known for their yummy pasta, croissants and desserts.  Oh and we finally got to watch Hangover 3.  If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend you guys to do so because it was hilarious.  And for a moment, I forgot everything about my new job.  Haha  :)

I had a great time with my baby since it's been a while since we went on a date.  I went for simple casual just like I always do because we tend to walk around Macau a lot.  Let me know what you guys think.  I hope you had an awesome weekend like I did.

Cheers,

I have survived! — A week in Paris.

It’s been a week since I came here. Lately, I’ve been feeling a little homesick even though I’m in one of the world’s most spectacular cities and most of my tweets have been about my boyfriend and how I wish he could have been here with me. It might be unbearable for people I know to keep hearing or listening to me whine about life here. I mean it’s great but it’s been a real challenge for me as it’s the first time I’ve been away from home for a long time.

Our professors here tend to say that French people have an attitude that make people feel unwelcome and that they are proud people, but so far I have not encountered anyone like that yet. I have to say that they are such nice and friendly people with such a good taste for fashion and clothing considering this is where the biggest fashion industries began. However, I’m still thinking whether I’d ever live here in the future though I might come back with my boyfriend of course. As I mentioned earlier, it’s been a challenge, I have to do my own laundry and at some points we have had to cook our own meals. Moreover, we had to do our own research on how to get to places as people here do not speak much English.

I am proud to say that I was able to survive the week with the help of my parents, my siblings, my friends and of course my boyfriend. I’ve been skyping and chatting with them more often so it made me feel like we were just next to each other and I cannot wait to be reunited with them.
