Denim Pinafore
The days are passing by rather slowly, but that's prolly only because I've been working alone in the office for almost two weeks now. Certainly isn't fun when your co-worker and best bud goes on leave. I'm too psyched for her to come back though. Just a couple more days.

Just live.
Hiiiii, so I haven't really gotten around to sorting out my photos in Taipei. It might take a while since I've been preoccupied with everything that's been going on in my life. I mean aside from my job and occasional meetups with friends and lunch/dinner with the folks, life just hasn't really been the same. I haven't been the same, but then again this shouldn't really come as a surprise because everyone has the tendency to change.

A quick update!
Hi guys! How've you been? I'm sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I should, but in my defence, I've been preoccupied with work and my personal life. However, I usually update my instagram a lot (@ginnywanders) so you can follow me there if you like.
Anyway, I can't believe I'm saying this but I am enjoying my job as my childhood friend, Lia, has joined our company. She's my new partner-in-crime and we couldn't be happier to have her on board. My days are no longer filled with emptiness! I don't go to work for the sake of going to work. I'm so much more positive and motivated as well.

Avengers Ensemble
Hi there loves! How's your week been so far? Mine has been pretty great considering the fact that I spent the whole day in HK with my parents and my love two days ago (which I'll be sharing with you guys in another blog post) so I didn't have to come in to work on that day, yay!
But moving on, I wanted to share with you all what I did last Saturday.

Bentonville, Arkansas - Travel Photo Diary Part 2.
The second day was just as lovely as the first. The sun was shining and the skies were blue, so we were able to go around for a while before heading back to Little Rock. Our one and only stop involved visiting the Walmart Museum which was great because I got to learn about the founder. There is no admission fee so you might want to go visit it if you're around the area. :)
I was very much inspired by how they first started off and how they became successful through their hard work. Apparently, their main concern is to help the less fortunate so their prices tend to be much lower than other retailers.
The founder/owner Sam Walton, was inspiring because he was simple in the sense that he got his haircuts regularly for 5 bucks. I was amazed at how someone so successful can be so down-to-earth.
Again, I would really recommend you to check the museum out if ever you're in the area! They have a little souvenir shop too, where you can get postcards, candy bars and more! Hope you like my photos and have a great week ahead!

I don't know about you, but I just turned twenty-two.
Holaa everyone! Yup! I just turned twenty-two, but frankly I don't feel like I've aged at all. However, the song of Taylor Swift's "22" has been growing on me and I've been hitting the replay button again and again. Anyway, I didn't really do much for my birthday. I had breakfast with my folks outside early in the morning and had dinner with Carlos only, since both my parents had to work and my brother was busy, but it was fine. I had an awesome time as usual, but we were too stuffed to do anything more after dinner although I was able to convince him to snap a few shots of what I was wearing and some other random stuff.
Oh and look what my sister sent me! Isn't she just the sweetest? She sent this to me via kakaotalk before my birthday since she's on the other side of the globe and there's a time difference. I love her to bits!!
Shirt: H&M, HK | Skirt: Cotton On, HK | Hat: In a Row |
Oh, and I only got to take one decent photo (that's if it's even considered decent) of my outfit since someone started yawning. HAHAHA! Anyway, the rest of the photos are of me, my parents and Carlos plus some random birthday stuff. Oh yeaa! This year I got two birthday cakes, one from my lovely parents and the other from my better half. Teehee!! I love them all so much and I'm so thankful for having them in my life! I wouldn't be who I am without them and of course I thank God for giving me such a wonderful life and lovely friends who greeted me through sms, fb, etc. etc.
Hope you like the photos! :) Till next post loves!! :D
xoxo,
Regine M.
P.S. The last two photos of me blowing my candle was taken in my super messy room by my brother and there are not photos of him here since he was too busy with schoolwork and he was in his PJs... just in case you're wondering why there aren't any photos of him here.

The story behind my coat.
As the title suggests, there's a story behind this coat but before that, let me ask you guys what you think of this coat? I just love everything about it and honestly it's my second time to actually wear it "properly" and you'll know why in a bit. It's funny because I've been dying to wear it and take shots and in fact I couldn't wait for the winter season to come but when it did, I never wore it until today. I thought the weather would gradually go up but I'm so glad it went down because I'm not ready to say goodbye to the cold just yet. Anyway, this is what I wore for mass today with my family...
Now on with my story. This coat was a gift from my aunt when we were staying at their place in Barnsley, UK. She's a shopaholic, you see and she's got me and my other relatives a lot of stuff but just never has the time to send it here. Anyway, last summer, she seized the opportunity of giving us most of the stuff she bought for us in her previous shopping trips and the coat was one of them. I was so excited to bring it back home but when we reached the airport in Manchester, we were told that our luggage could not exceed 30 kg but with my mom, brother and I having a limit of up to 30 kg each which meant 90 kg all together, I thought that we'd be okay. Little did we know that we bought too much stuff and that I had a lot of clothes so we exceeded and of course we had to pay even though we got rid of some of the stuff we bought already. And since, I couldn't bear to leave the clothes I bought and got from my aunt, I decided to wear this coat and one of my other jackets even though it was so damn hot. Not to mention, when we got to Dubai, it was even hotter! Yes! That's how desperate I was to bring my clothes home. Hahaha!
Top: Per Una (gift from aunt) | Coat: George (gift from aunt) | Shoes: Forever 21 | Skirt: Cotton On, HK | Hat: In a Row, local store | Bag: Gift from my sister |
Forgive me for some of my awkward pauses. These shots were taken outside of our apartment since I didn't have my camera with me when I went out. Oh and I love my hat so much I can't stop wearing it! Not to mention, it goes with any outfit so be warned as you might get sick of seeing me wear it all the time. Anyway, I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend! Till next post! :)
Love lots,
Regine M.

Pigging out, pigging out and more pigging out! :)
Another week has passed and just like that it's February! There's so much to look forward to in the month of February. Anyway, here are some of the random photos I took during the week. As you can see, there's been a lot of pigging out which is why I believe that I would have to go on diet during the Lunar/Chinese New Year holidays which I know might be unlikely. Anyway, I've been pigging out with friends and of course my boyfriend, plus I studied for my French exam with a friend and watched "Hansel & Gretel" at the UA cinema. This week was great and I'm looking forward to the holidays because I honestly need a break from school, the professors and not to mention, assignments!!!
Oh and here's what I wore when I hung out with Caloy last night.
Top: Forever 21, HK | Cardigan: Marks&Spencer, HK (Mom's) | Shoes: Pull&Bear | Leggings&Bag: Cotton On, HK |
