Upon arriving in Bangkok, Lia and I were welcomed by one of the hotel's chauffeurs who drove us to none other than where we were staying at -- Lohas Suites. We were already drained because by the time we got there, it was already past midnight. And if you must know, we had been working for the whole day. I'm not complaining of course, because technically, we were the ones who chose to go on those particular dates.

A Switch - from iOS to Android.
The switch from iOS to Android has made me incredibly happy for some reason. Now, I am no gadget expert and I'm barely up to date when it comes to gadgets, but I must say that I am honestly in love with how the Note 3 looks physically. The back features faux leather, as well as stitching which makes it look fab! The screen is wide so it makes it better for watching movies or series whenever I'm on my break at work. Not to mention, it's user friendly!
I was so reluctant to give up my iPhone (because I was so used to it and it's been with me for a while) but when Carlos got this for me on my birthday, I thought I'd give it a chance (just like I did with the rest of my other phones). So far, I'm loving it! Maybe it's the thought of having a matching black one with my love. :)

Merci beaucoup!
March is one of my favorite months... only because it's my birth month! HAHA! I had no intention of celebrating my birthday, though I must say, I was fortunate enough to do so (with both my family and friends). The celebration with my friends was really fun, we had a lot to eat and a lot of laughs and as expected, I got teased at some points for the way I speak (not that there's anything wrong with the way I do). Anyway, it wasn't just my birthday that we celebrated but it was also a reunion for Tiffany came to Macau from Indo. Yayy! Hahaha I was really excited to see her even though we just met a month ago.
The night ended pretty quickly and it was most likely because we were having wayyyy too much fun that we weren't aware of the time. It's a pity that everyone had to leave early because we all had to work the next day. Screw working! Oh well! I still had fun though and I want to thank everyone who were able to make it and to everyone who greeted me on facebook, wechat, line, twitter, instagram and via e-mail! Thank you! It's been the best birthday so far!

Thanks for the pressies!
I really love the presents I got and I'm so thankful. I honestly wasn't expecting anything from my friends so this was really a surprise so thank you!
Thank you baby for surprising me two days before my birthday! I was soooo overwhelmed with joy when I got back and saw this on the table with our sandwiches. HAHAA! Anyway, this month has been really awesome! I just can't say thank you enough.
P.S. I just wanted to share the moments and photos on my birthday on this blog and just to clarify, I have no intention of bragging or something of that sort. I hope you like the photos. Till next post.

Jakarta Photo Diary.
Jakarta was a blast!!! Good food, awesome people, interesting culture and most of all a CNY holiday well spent! I always enjoy travelling because of everything I just mentioned previously, but most of all it's because of the experience I gain through interacting with people. The feeling I felt while I was there is inexplicable because even though there were a lot of times when I did not understand what they were talking about, I still felt welcome. It's as though there was a connection with only the slightest bit of awkwardness in the beginning and after bonding through card games, eating and mall hopping, the latter part disappeared. It is those wonderful moments that I treasure the most because after everything I've seen, the only thing I tend to remember is the overwhelming joy I felt. Till next post, loves!

How weekends should be.
Weekends are honestly my favorite time of the week because that's usually the only time I have for myself, my family, friends and of course, Carlos. However, there are some Saturdays wherein I still have to go to work which just pisses me off! As if being in the office from Monday to Friday isn't enough. Gah!
Anyway, I'll stop complaining now since it won't get me anywhere. :) Instead, I'll just tell you about how I spent my weekend last week. Weekends, for me, are usually spent on pigging out! Lots and lots of pigging out here and there no matter who I'm with because that's when I get to stop and think about what I really want to have. And I'm never usually in a rush so yea. Last weekend, my childhood friend, Ana, asked me in the middle of the week whether I wanted to go to HK and without hesitation I said yes! Therefore, we went to catch the ferry right after work on Friday, put our stuff down in our room and headed to Central where we had breakfast for midnight! Aaaah yes! The Flying Pan is just pure love since they're open 24/7 and serve good food!
We then went to LKF (Lan Kwai Fong) afterwards where we just had a pint of beer each since we were exhausted from working for the whole day and everything. However, I did have a lot of fun chatting with my dear friend and it was nice being able to hang out with her. :)
The next day we checked out and went to Mong Kok, probably the busiest and crowded district in HK. And the first thing we did was to look for a place to eat because we were starving and so after walking for a couple of minutes, we decided to eat at this place called Teawood. Aaah yes! I remember wanting to eat there with Carlos a couple of months back but it was packed so we decided not to. However, Ana and I were able to get a table right away since there weren't much people at noon. We both ordered a set meal plus their yummy dessert below. It was sooooo good and I recommend you all to try it if ever you're in HK, this is a MUST!
Headed to Causeway Bay and then to Central after doing a little shopping in Mong Kok and let's just say I'm a little broke at the moment. Hahaha! But it was totally worth it!
We both thought the day (Saturday) went by really quickly and maybe it's because we were having too much fun! Oh well! I just hope we can do this again sometime soon and hopefully with a lot more people because after all, the more, the merrier right? Hope you all had a great weekend and liked the photos! Cheers!

And so I bid 2013 farewell...
Before anything else, I would like to bid 2013 farewell... It was, once again, a memorable year though I wouldn't consider it a great year. I was however, able to accomplish some things which I'm very thankful for. Of course I wouldn't have done it without God, my family, boyfriend and friends. I'm done being a student in reality although I wish I weren't. But at least I've made my parents proud that I've graduated with a Bachelor's degree. I've started working and I was able to go to another country, thanks to the company I'm working for. I was able to spend quality time with my family, boyfriend and of course my friends so when I think about it now, 2013 wasn't really that bad. I just had a lot to endure and I had to adapt to working life, but I'm over it already as I've decided to stop complaining (which I highly doubt I'll be able to do) this year. After all, 2014 is a new beginning and I have a feeling that this year will be LEGENDARY! Hahaha And yes, I've been watching "How I met your mother" a lot these days so that explains the word. I hope 2014 is going great for you all!! Cheers to a new awesome year!!

Disneyland Photo Diary.
Hi everyone! Soooo there's only five more days till Christmas! Time sure does fly, doesn't it? Just last year we were doing the same thing, preparing for the holidays and celebrating with our loved ones. Before we know it, it'll be 2014 already. I am pretty excited and really positive about the coming year and I'm hoping that things will be better for everyone. Anyway, the photos above were taken in Disneyland when Carlos and I decided to have some fun and just be kiddos again and what better place to go to than Disneyland, right? The weather wasn't that promising when we left Macau but that sure didn't stop us from going and having fun. I had a blast and I know I've already been to Disneyland before but the thrill was still there. Seeing parents with their kids having fun, watching the parade, going on rides and just forgetting about everything else made me realize that we need more of these kinds of adventures because clearly, life isn't all about working. It's about balancing both fun and work and it's pretty obvious that people don't get much of the former part. It started to rain in the afternoon so we decided to leave and visit the usual stores for shopping. Sooo I guess that's about it. I hope you guys enjoy/like our Pre-Christmas adventure. Till next time.
xx,
Regine
