Denim Pinafore

The days are passing by rather slowly, but that's prolly only because I've been working alone in the office for almost two weeks now.  Certainly isn't fun when your co-worker and best bud goes on leave.  I'm too psyched for her to come back though.  Just a couple more days.

Priorities.

Prioritizing has never really been my forte.  With that said, my stress level is always high up on the scale and I'm only in my mid-twenties.  Talk about being an adult.  Anyway, you might be wondering why I'm on this topic and my main purpose is to share my thoughts with anyone who reads this.  The past couple of years have been an emotional roller coaster ride for me.  I'm nowhere close to being an emotional wreck, but I must say I'm still clueless when it comes to choosing a career path.  My passion lies between travelling and writing (although I've never really had anything published before).

Mind over Matter?

Confused.  The best adjective to describe my current state of mind.  I've been trying so hard not to let my confusion take over my well being, but I believe it has already conquered my intellect.  Now there are some things I need to figure out in my life, so I'm giving myself the rest of the year...just cause I still have no idea about what I really want to do -- career wise.  I used to think that after graduation I'd be able to figure out what I want to do with my life.  Well, I was definitely wrong and to be honest, I didn't see it coming.  I know I'm not alone and it's prolly what everyone goes through at some point in life, so I'm still trying to be positive.  Moreover, despite everything that's been going on with me, I'm very thankful for what has happened during the past two months.  Yes, it's March (already?).

Best of 2015!

This year has gone by oh-so-quickly!  I can't believe another year is coming to an end.  It has been another year full of ups and downs, but nevertheless, a wonderful adventure!  Once again, I'm thankful for everything I've been given.

New Orleans Photo Diary -- Part 1

New Orleans, home of jazz music, Mardi Gras and the warmest people  you'll ever meet.  Also, their food is just too darn good!!!  My taste buds just couldn't get enough of the spices they used in their dishes.  I was really excited to spend Christmas in the city because I've never really gone anywhere before besides Macau.  Moreover, it was the first time my siblings and I have spent Christmas together, so it was pretty special.

The drive to New Orleans was exciting even though I wasn't able to stay awake the entire time.  The weather was definitely not in our favour and I was not expecting dense fog, rain, humidity or a hot Christmas, but it was still a fun trip.  For the most part, we spent our time shopping and of course, eating!  I shall return with Carlos or my parents for more "noms".  Mmmm mmm!

Arriving in Bangkok

Upon arriving in Bangkok, Lia and I were welcomed by one of the hotel's chauffeurs who drove us to none other than where we were staying at -- Lohas Suites.  We were already drained because by the time we got there, it was already past midnight.  And if you must know, we had been working for the whole day.  I'm not complaining of course, because technically, we were the ones who chose to go on those particular dates.

Empire State of Mind -- I wish!

Seeing the replica of the Statue of Liberty reminded me of NYC in an instant.  Made me reminisce about the big apple all over again and the adventures I had last year.  Here's wishing that Carlos and I will travel to farther places sometime soon! For now, we can only dream.

Kyoto -- Day 3

The Fushimi Inari Shrine was on our list because we've been seeing pictures of it on travel pages, bloggers' feeds and so on.  Therefore, the moment we stepped foot in Japan, I immediately told Carlos that we HAD to go to Kyoto no matter what.  Lucky for us, Osaka and Kyoto are not far from each other.

Universal Studios Japan -- Day 2

I've been slacking on my blog posts again and I must apologize because I've been enjoying life to the fullest!  With that being said, I just got back from Bangkok with my childhood friends and I can't wait to share our photos here.  I'll try to blog about it as soon as I'm done with Japan.

Exploring the city in Plains & Prints -- Day 1

"The World is yours to Explore"

There's something about being in a different country or a city that makes me feel alive and ready for new experiences.  With that being said, I woke up early on the first day despite the fact that we've only arrived the day before and were dead tired from our trip.  However, I honestly felt like we had no time to lose if we wanted to see everything that was on our itinerary.  Not to mention, we did not know the language (although Carlos knows the basics) so starting early was a MUST for us.

Touchdown Osaka!

I never thought that I would be able to set foot in Japan because for starters, we had another destination in mind.  However, God made it possible for us to travel to one of the world's most spectacular countries in Asia and we couldn't have made a wiser choice.

A quick update!

Hi everyone!  I apologize for the fact that I've been MIA these past couple of weeks, but do follow me on instagram (@ginnywanders) if you like cos that's where I usually flood other people's feeds. :)  I just got back from Japan, but I'm back to reality again.  I'll be blogging about our recent trip soon, so stay tuned!  For now, I'll leave you with a photo from my brother and I hope that your day will be brightened just like it did to mine.

Have a great week ahead loves!
